History
I started brewing with Mr Beer in 2006. By late 2007 I was dabbling with partial mashes on the stovetop. Once bitten by the all-grain bug, I started looking at various homebrewing systems trying to find the right fit for me. I knew I didn't want to move my brewing outside and I knew I liked doing smaller batches. Then I found Lonnie McAllister's Brutus 20 design. I liked the compactness, loved the no-sparge concept, and realized with a couple tweaks I could easily move it indoors. By Feb. 2009 I had my Countertop Brutus 20 complete and have been brewing with it ever since.
